Tom Ward and friends organised another collection at the Asda store in Bedminster.

We were a little short of helpers this time as some of the volunteers had succumbed to a bug that is doing the rounds. However we like to think that what we lacked in quantity we made up for in quality!

We helped shoppers unload their trolleys or pack their groceries into bags in return for a donation. Many shoppers were happy for the help and even those who declined help usually put money into our collection buckets.

We also took the opportunity to spread the word about Huntington’s Disease, the work the Bristol branch does and the research that is going on to find a cure.

Thanks to Tom and all the helpers and also Brenda and the Asda till staff, who looked after us all. And a big thank you to the generous shoppers of Bedminster for their support.
