Tom Ward managed to gather together family, friends and supporters for a collection at the Asda store in Bedminster.

There were 3 generations of willing helpers with ages ranging from 13 to 62. We helped shoppers with their food packing and also collected at the entrances.

Although the main objective was to raise money to support the work of the HDA we also had the chance to spread the word about Huntington’s Disease.
Everyone was still smiling at the end of the day as you can see from the photo, including the two shorter members of our team on the extreme right of the picture!

Tom has since reported that we raised almost £1000 on the day and he has generously made this up to a £1000 donation to the HDA.

Many thanks to Tom and all the helpers and also Brenda from Asda, who looked after us all. And a big thank you to the generous shoppers of Bedminster for their support.
